What a great celebration of the incredible work being done across health and social care to promote safe, effective, and person-centred moving and handling practices it was.

Enhancing outcomes at every level - individual, team, organisation, and system - moving and handling is at the heart of quality care. It’s more than training compliance and preventing injuries; it’s about mobilising, reconditioning, promoting independence, and ensuring dignity and safety for all.

Pledge Competition! 

We received some excellent pledges which you can see shared on our social channels on LinkedIn and Facebook. It was a tricky decision, but the winners were the newly formed Moving and Handling Team at Royal Free London NHS Trust:

We will strive to use our knowledge, awareness and attitude to continuously develop a safer Moving and Handling culture in Royal Free London Group- providing high quality patient care, staff safety, continuous improvement and using resources more effectively!!
Very ambitious indeed but we will give our 💯!!
