Get involved with best practice in moving and handling - Project Launch!

NBE Professional Affairs Committee launch new project...

Following NBE's recent work with Skills for Health, updating the Core Skills framework, we are excited to have been approached and invited to work with Health Education England to update their e-learning package. We are really pleased that NBE members have been recognized as the subject experts and feel this is a great opportunity for members to get involved in driving best practice forward.

"e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) is a HEE programme, working in partnership with the NHS and professional bodies, to support patient care by providing e-learning to educate and train the health and social care workforce."

As Chair of the Professional Affairs Committee, I will be leading a small team of NBE members who have an extensive range of teaching experience in moving and handling, to review and update the HEE e-learning package.

Timescales are fairly tight as HEE want to start the project in the next month. As a team, we will need to meet up once or twice face to face, with additional communication via email or Skype. Please note travel expenses will be paid in accordance with the NBE expenses policy.

This project is a great opportunity to be a lead in current best practice in moving and handling, and for your ongoing CPD.

Further details the can be found in the the attached Person Specification.

If you would like to be involved in this project, please complete the attached application form and send it to me at: . The deadline for this is Thursday 5th March.
