The National Back Exchange AGM will be held on the 28th of September at 5:30 pm.  Prior to the AGM we are planning an informative webinar.

The webinar will showcase the important work NBE has been involved with reshaping the moving and handling element of the Core skills training framework. This event will be held via video conferencing (zoom) which will give you the chance to be part of the AGM, listen to the key reports and cast your vote for the various proposals put forward. Several Executive roles remain vacant, so you also have the opportunity to elect new members onto the committee at the meeting.

Further details of how to access the meeting will be posted later and be included in an email sent out to all members.

Further details of these posts and the application and election process can be found in the Exec Nomination Form 2020 below.

If you are unable to attend, I would urge you to vote beforehand. It is really important that all members have the opportunity to have their say in the future of your association. We require a total of 50 votes to be cast, either at the meeting itself or beforehand via the online voting system. The 3 proposed changes to the NBE constitution (Proposals 1, 2 and 3) are in response to the changing needs of the association, in these exceptional times. They will allow us flexibility to change the structure and roles of the Executive committee to best meet the needs of the members of NBE. We have been making good progress throughout the year, engaging with members and wish to continue this with the creation of an additional Member Liaison Officer and 2 Marketing and Engagement Officers, as well as the current post of Communications Officer.

Full details on how to vote can be found here on our previous blog post

Voting online for those unable to attend the AGM is available now
